Resignation Wave: Haryana CM Khattar and Cabinet Ministers Step Down, Submitting to Governor

Reports have emerged that Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, along with his cabinet ministers, tendered their resignations to Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya on Tuesday. This move arrives amidst speculations hinting at potential tensions within the BJP and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) coalition concerning seat allocation in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Sources indicate that the BJP has convened a meeting with its MLAs to address the situation.

Currently, the BJP holds 41 seats in the 90-member House, while the JJP possesses 10. Moreover, the ruling alliance also enjoys the backing of six out of seven independent legislators.

On the opposition front, the Congress holds 30 seats, while the Indian National Lok Dal and the Haryana Lokhit Party have one seat each.
