PM Modi does not do politics on religion basis, never thought of dividing society: Affirms Rajnath Singh

Modi further alleged that the Congress intends to allocate resources to "infiltrators" and families with more children. Singh criticized the opposition for attempting to undermine Prime Minister Modi's credibility and stressed their long-standing relationship, asserting that Modi has always advocated for unity rather than divisive politics.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized at an election rally in Greater Noida that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently refrained from engaging in divisive politics based on religion or societal divisions. Singh drew attention to a statement made by former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in 2006 regarding the extension of reservations for Muslims. Prime Minister Modi, during another rally, raised concerns about the Congress redistributing wealth to Muslims if they were to come to power, referencing Dr. Singh's remark about the minority community's claim on national resources.

Singh challenged the Congress to clarify its stance on property surveys mentioned in their manifesto and reminded them of Dr. Manmohan Singh's assertion about minority rights to national resources. He highlighted past commissions suggesting reservations for Muslims and minorities within the OBC quota.

Singh accused the Congress of dividing the country along religious lines and reiterated BJP's commitment to building a unified India regardless of caste or religion. He criticized the opposition's reaction to BJP's uncontested victory in Surat, Gujarat, and cited instances of their own victories in by-elections without raising concerns about democracy.
