Rahul Gandhi's Reaction to BJP's Political Agenda Post Ram Temple Consecration Ceremony

Gandhi took aim at Assam Chief Minister Himant Biswa Sarma, accusing him of obstructing the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra and suggesting that such actions only served to bring more attention and publicity to the yatra, making it a focal point in Assam.

A day following the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi dismissed it as a "political programme" orchestrated by the BJP and refuted claims of any significant impact it may have had among the public.

Gandhi took aim at Assam Chief Minister Himant Biswa Sarma, accusing him of obstructing the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra and suggesting that such actions only served to bring more attention and publicity to the yatra, making it a focal point in Assam. During a press conference, Gandhi emphasized that the chief minister of the state is among the most corrupt in the country, citing concerns raised by the people about issues such as unemployment, corruption, price hikes, and the struggles faced by farmers and youth seeking employment.

Highlighting the significance of the Nyay Yatra, Gandhi explained that it revolves around five pillars of justice aimed at empowering the country: participation, justice for youth, laborers, women, and farmers. He announced that the Congress party would unveil its comprehensive plan for these five pillars of justice over the next month.

Responding to questions about the Ram temple consecration ceremony and countering any perceived wave it may have generated, Gandhi asserted that there was no such wave. He reiterated that the event in Ayodhya was a political endeavor by the BJP, and while acknowledging the function conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gandhi emphasized the Congress's commitment to its own clear agenda focused on the five justices to fortify the nation.
