Rahul Gandhi Highlights INDIA Bloc's Role in Preventing BJP from 'Stealing Popular Mandate' in Jharkhand

As his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra entered Jharkhand, Gandhi, accompanied by Chief Minister Champai Soren, denounced the BJP's efforts, asserting that despite their "money power and probe agencies," the Congress remains unafraid and committed to combating the ruling party's "divisive ideology."

The BJP's attempt to undermine the democratically elected Jharkhand government faced resistance from the INDIA bloc, preventing the "conspiracy" to hijack the people's mandate, according to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

During the gathering, Gandhi highlighted the injustice prevailing nationwide, including soaring prices and rising unemployment. He criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policies, stating that under his leadership, it has become nearly impossible for the youth to secure employment in India. The Nyay Yatra, he explained, is not only a continuation of the previous Bharat Jodo Yatra against the RSS and BJP's divisive agenda but also a quest for justice for the people of the country.

Gandhi credited the INDIA alliance for standing against the BJP's attempt to destabilize the Jharkhand government and emphasized the widespread economic challenges faced by the nation. In a video shared on social media, he criticized Modi's policies as a guarantee of unemployment, attributing the country's current high unemployment rate to the adverse effects of demonetization and the flawed implementation of GST during the Modi government.

Inviting the people of Jharkhand to participate in the Nyay Yatra, Gandhi promised to listen to their concerns and stressed that this journey is dedicated to seeking economic and social justice, particularly for farmers, youth, and marginalized communities.

In a related post on social media, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh shared a picture of Rahul Gandhi with the newly sworn-in Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Champai Soren, during the flag handover ceremony of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. Champai Soren, popularly known as the Tiger of Jharkhand, expressed his full support for the Nyay Yatra, assuring the people that their concerns would be addressed.

The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is set to cover 13 districts in Jharkhand over eight days in two phases, focusing on economic and social justice for farmers, youth, and other marginalized groups.
