PM Modi Stresses Election Results Reflect Rejection of Negativity by People

The day following the announcement of Assembly election outcomes in four states, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the media, highlighting that the results signaled a rejection of negativity by the populace. He urged the opposition to refrain from venting their defeat-induced frustrations inside Parliament during the upcoming Winter Session.

Post-election outcomes, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the golden opportunity the ongoing session presents for the opposition to approach proceedings with a constructive mindset. He encouraged all Members of Parliament to enter Parliament prepared, shedding the negativity accumulated over nine years and fostering a positive outlook. He urged against channeling defeat-related frustrations within the parliamentary space.

Further, he urged the opposition not to engage in protests merely for the sake of it, emphasizing the crucial role of the opposition in a democratic setup. He stressed the nation's aspiration to continue its developmental journey without hindrance.

Additionally, he reiterated his stance on the country's division into four "castes" — women, youngsters, farmers, and the poor. He highlighted that policies focusing on empowering these segments and ensuring last-mile delivery receive significant support.
