PM Modi says he is seeking third term for benefit of India, not for political gains

Modi emphasized a vision of grandeur, urging the nation to set ambitious goals and resolute aspirations, aiming for India's elevation to a developed status by 2047.

During the BJP national convention, Prime Minister Narendra Modi rallied party members, urging them to embark on a spirited campaign over the next 100 days. Their mission: to engage with fresh voters, earning their trust and securing the BJP's triumph in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Modi emphasized a vision of grandeur, urging the nation to set ambitious goals and resolute aspirations, aiming for India's elevation to a developed status by 2047.

"The upcoming five years are pivotal. Our stride towards 'Viksit Bharat' must be substantial, with a foremost objective of reinstating the BJP with resounding support," proclaimed the prime minister.
 

He underscored that his dreams resonate with the aspirations of millions of women, impoverished individuals, and the youth. "We've cleansed the nation of colossal scandals and terrorist assaults, while diligently working towards enhancing the living standards of the underprivileged and the middle class," Modi asserted.

Downplaying personal aspirations for power, Modi reaffirmed his commitment to national progress. "My focus isn't personal gratification. It's about serving the nation. Building homes for millions wouldn't have been possible if I prioritized personal comfort," he remarked.

Reflecting on achievements, Modi credited a decade of unwavering governance for uplifting 250 million people out of poverty. "A senior leader suggested I step back, but my allegiance lies with 'rashtraniti' (national policy), not 'rajneeti' (politics)," he remarked.

Drawing inspiration from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Modi highlighted his selfless dedication to India's welfare. "My advocacy for a third term isn't about political maneuvering; it's about India's advancement. The aspirations of Indians fuel my commitments," Modi asserted.

Citing initiatives like Swachh Bharat and promoting women's dignity, Modi emphasized his administration's proactive agenda. "We're harnessing the potential of youths, women, farmers, and entrepreneurs to shape a prosperous India," he declared.

Modi heralded Mission Shakti as a transformative step towards women's empowerment, announcing plans to equip 15,000 women's self-help groups with drones. "Through 'Drone Didi,' we'll infuse scientific acumen into agriculture, fostering prosperity. Three crore women will emerge as 'Lakhpati Didis' (millionaire sisters)," Modi proclaimed.

Highlighting significant milestones, Modi touted the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya and the restoration of religious symbols like the Pavagadh flag in Gujarat. "After seven decades, we've dismantled Article 370, ushering in a new era," he declared, underscoring the BJP's transformative agenda for India's future.
