Prime Minister Narendra Modi opted for simplicity during his overnight stay at the Government Guest House, foregoing a king-sized bed for his yoga mat on the floor. This unique choice was part of Modi's commitment to a simple lifestyle and dietary restrictions as he observed a lent period, preparing for his participation in the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Upon arrival at the guest house after a roadshow on Tuesday night, Modi surprised the staff by choosing a refreshing tender coconut water over the prepared Kerala and North Indian dishes. For dinner, he stuck to a light meal of fruits. Despite the luxurious arrangements, Modi's preference for minimalism extended to his sleeping arrangements.
Waking up at 4:30 a.m., Modi began his day with a glass of hot water, followed by his customary yoga routine. Expressing gratitude to the guest house staff upon departure, Modi appreciated the pleasant stay.
During his two-day visit to the state, Modi not only conducted a roadshow and attended actor Suresh Gopi's daughter's wedding but also visited a Ram temple in Trissur. Additionally, he dedicated projects worth Rs 4,000 crores before addressing a meeting of his party workers. This unique blend of simplicity and commitment to duty defines Modi's approach to both personal and professional aspects of his life.
