PM Modi Inaugurates Projects Worth Rs 4,000 Crore in Kerala, Addresses CM Vijayan's Concerns

During the inauguration of strategic projects at Kochi, including those at Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) and the Indian Oil Corporation, PM Modi assured that the Centre was committed to supporting Kerala.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday, addressed concerns about the Centre's support for Kerala, stating that projects worth Rs 4,000 crore have been commissioned in the state. This comes a day after the Left Front government led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan announced plans to stage a protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on February 8.

During the inauguration of strategic projects at Kochi, including those at Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) and the Indian Oil Corporation, PM Modi assured that the Centre was committed to supporting Kerala. He highlighted the commissioning of projects as evidence of the government's commitment to the state.

The Prime Minister inaugurated a 310-meter-long Drydock at CSL, built according to international standards, and the International Ship Repair Facility (ISRF), India's first fully developed ship repair ecosystem. Additionally, he inaugurated the Indian Oil Corporation's LPG import terminal. PM Modi emphasized that these projects would not only boost the strategic capabilities of the region but also create numerous employment opportunities.
