Addressing a party meeting of 'Shakti Kendras' in Marine Drive, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized that the BJP stands as the sole party in India with a proven track record of rapid development and a clear vision for the future. The gathering comprised around 6,000 in-charges, each responsible for two to three booth-level areas.
During his speech, the prime minister highlighted the diverse initiatives undertaken by his government to improve the well-being of citizens. He pointed out that, according to a recent report, approximately 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty in India over the last nine years, signifying the success of the government's developmental approach.
Modi asserted, "This indicates that the direction that we have taken for a developed nation is the correct one." He underlined the BJP's distinctive position as the only party with a proven history of rapid development and a clear vision for the nation's future.
The prime minister also called upon party workers to communicate to the public that the track record of the LDF and UDF in Kerala is synonymous with a history of corruption.
Reflecting on his visit to Kerala, Modi expressed gratitude for the warm welcome he received on Tuesday. He mentioned being overwhelmed by the love and affection shown by the people of Kerala. Recounting the blessings he received during his arrival in Kochi and the route to the Triprayar Sree Ramaswamy Temple, he conveyed his appreciation for the positive reception.
Concluding his two-day visit to Kerala, the prime minister was set to return to Delhi later in the evening.
