While speaking about the 121st episode of his monthly radio show 'Mann Ki Baat', PM Modi said, "Today, as I speak my heart out to you, my heart aches acutely. The April 22 Pahalgam terror attack has filled every citizen's heart with sorrow. Every Indian feels immense sympathy for the families of the victims. A human being may belong to any state or may be of any language, but he feels pained for the ones who lost their dear ones in this attack."

He added, "I know that every Indian is outraged after watching the photos of the terrorist attack. This Pahalgam attack is an indication of the frustration of the people who support terrorism; it indicates their cowardice."

Referring to the progress Kashmir was making before the attack, PM Modi declared, "When peace was returning to Kashmir, schools and colleges were flourishing, construction activity had picked up its highest speed, democracy was becoming stronger, tourism was witnessing its record growth, the earnings of people were rising, youth was being provided with new opportunities, the enemies of the nation, the enemies of Jammu and Kashmir did not like this."

"Terrorists and their leaders desire Kashmir to be devastated again, and therefore such a massive conspiracy was hatched," he stated.
