On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the people of Bihar well on the state's anniversary, Bihar Diwas, marking the state's rich heritage and history.
In his message, PM Modi made a point of the state's continued development journey, crediting Bihar's dedicated and talented people for the importance that they have been playing.
On X social media, he posted, "Heartfelt wishes to all my Bihar brothers and sisters, the sacred land of heroes and great personalities, on Bihar Diwas. Our state, which has enriched Indian history, is going through a crucial stage of its development journey today, in which talented and hardworking sons and daughters of Bihar have a crucial role.". We will not spare any stone in the all-around development of this state, which has been at the heart of our culture and tradition.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also turned to social media to greet people of Bihar on their special occasion. He mentioned the state's significant contributions towards the nation, emphasizing its crucial role in crafting ancient and contemporary India. On X, he penned, "Heartiest greetings of 'Bihar Day' to all the people of Bihar." He added, "Bihar, a land of knowledge, tradition, and cultural heritage, has always given leadership and new energy to the country. From the glorious pages of history to the making of modern India, Bihar has left its indelible mark in every sphere.". Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the NDA government is determined to push Bihar to new heights of development, prosperity, and self-sufficiency. I desire happiness, peace, and progress for the people of the state."
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also joined the celebration, delivering his warm wishes and underlining the bright future of the state. In his message, CM Kumar looked back at Bihar's glorious past while expressing the government's resolve to construct a prosperous future for the state.
On X, he said, "Hearty congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of Bihar Diwas. Bihar has a glorious history and we are now working to prepare a glorious future for Bihar with our resolve.".
