On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the government's commitment to modernizing laws in alignment with the current context and international best practices. Speaking at the 75th-anniversary celebrations of the Supreme Court, he highlighted the transformative impact of three new criminal justice laws on India's legal, policing, and investigative systems.

Linking today's economic policies to a brighter future, Modi asserted that the laws crafted today would contribute to the foundation of a prosperous India tomorrow. In the global context, he underscored the growing faith in India and the need to capitalize on every opportunity. Additionally, the Prime Minister disclosed the government's recent approval of Rs 800 crore for the expansion of the Supreme Court building, underlining its commitment to enhancing judicial infrastructure.
