PM Modi Highlights Lord Ram's Governance as a Source of Inspiration for Constitution Makers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the unifying impact of the Ram temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya during the latest Mann Ki Baat broadcast. He highlighted how the event brought millions of people together, showcasing the collective strength of the nation. Modi drew parallels between the governance of Lord Ram and the inspiration it provided to the framers of the Constitution.

Reflecting on the sentiment surrounding the consecration ceremony, Modi expressed, "Everyone’s feeling is the same, everyone’s devotion is the same. He pointed out the widespread participation in singing Ram bhajans dedicated to Lord Ram, culminating in the nationwide lighting of 'Ram Jyoti' and a festive celebration resembling Diwali on January 22.

In his broadcast, Modi also commended individuals recently honored with Padma awards, emphasizing the transformation of the award system over the last decade. He expressed his joy at the evolution of the Padma awards into a recognition of the people's contributions, especially those working at the grassroots, away from the limelight, to bring about significant positive changes.
