‘People's problems cannot be solved by making speeches’: Ajit Pawar's Dig at Supriya Sule

In a recent address at an election rally, Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister and NCP President, Ajit Pawar, didn't hold back in his critique of his estranged sister, Supriya Sule, who is the NCP-SP nominee. He emphasized that merely delivering speeches in parliament wouldn't resolve the issues faced by the people.

Taking a swipe at his uncle, Sharad Pawar, Ajit urged voters to consider supporting him and his party's nominee in the upcoming elections, suggesting that aligning with the senior Pawar has been the tradition so far. However, he cautioned against being swayed solely by emotional appeals, emphasizing his own track record of seven successful election wins and his understanding of the political nuances.

Addressing concerns specific to the Baramati constituency, Ajit Pawar stressed that mere rhetoric wouldn't suffice to tackle its challenges. While acknowledging his prowess in public speaking, he underscored his commitment to action, highlighting his efforts in securing funds for development projects and ensuring their timely completion.

Despite acknowledging existing discontent among constituents towards his colleagues and leaders, Ajit Pawar urged voters not to penalize him or the party's candidate, Sunetra Pawar, for the mistakes of others. Reflecting on his past criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ajit Pawar recognized the leader's dedication to national development and his willingness to engage in dialogue for regional progress, citing his efforts to secure funding for the Baramati-Phaltan railway route as evidence of collaborative efforts between the state and the center.
