Palakkad holds special significance for the BJP, having secured governance of the prestigious Palakkad municipality solely on its merit in 2015, a feat repeated five years later. Additionally, the BJP clinched second place in two constituencies—Palakkad and Malampuzha—in the 2021 Assembly polls, further solidifying its foothold in the region.
