Only BJP has a future in India: Amit Shah

Amit Shah said this while addressing a programme of the SC/ST Morcha here on Saturday. He also said that the Narendra Modi government has ensured the security of the country. Amit Shah cited the Pulwama incident and said that India retaliated inside Pakistani soil to the carnage in Pulwama, adding the Congress government never had the guts to do this. The senior BJP leader also said that Communism was fast losing its relevance, and is disappearing from the world.

While addressing JD-U's National Executive Committee in Patna, Kumar said that he is working on uniting opposition leaders in the country. "We are working to make opposition leaders united in the country. We have interacted with the Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao a few days ago and I am regularly interacting with leaders of the opposition parties over phone. If opposition parties will fight against BJP, they will reduce it to nearly 50 seats," the Chief Minister added.

5 JD-U MLAs merge with BJP in Manipur

Manipur assembly Secretary K. Meghajit Singh said Speaker Thokchom Satyabrata Singh has accepted the merger of the five JD-U MLAs to the legislature party of BJP in the Manipur Assembly under the 10th Schedule of the Constitution. The five legislators who joined BJP are Khumukcham Joykisan Singh (Thangmeiband), Ngursanglur Sanate (Tipaimukh), Md. Achab Uddin (Jiribam), Thangjam Arunkumar (Wangkhei) and L.M. Khaute (Churachandpur).

Mishra made the controversial remark while reacting to Shabana Azami's comment questioning the release of 11 persons convicted for the gang-rape of Bilkis Bano during the Gujarat riots in 2002. Talking to mediapersons here, Mishra said these people don't utter even a single word when crimes are committed in a non-BJP state. "Why these people were silent when a minor girl was killed in Jharkhand, why did not they say a single word on the Udaipur murder? Because they see crime in only in BJP-ruled states. These people are agents and sleeper cell of Tukde-Tukde gang," Mishra said.
