As per sources, Ajay Maken wrote to Mallikarjun Kharge saying that he does not want to remain in charge of Rajasthan. In his one-page letter, he has said that a new in-charge should be appointed in Rajasthan after the incident that took place on September 25 regarding Congress MLAs.
Abusive banner against Kerala Governor in college campus

The remarks on the banner which were written in Malayalam meant "Raj bhavan is not the property of the Governor's father". When the Governor's office came to know about it, displeasure was expressed, post which Kerala University higher ups and the principal of the college intervened and got the banner removed. On Tuesday, the CPI(M) laid a siege to the Raj Bhavan protesting the alleged attempt to begin "saffronisation" of the Universities in Kerala.

Surendra Jain, the VHP's Central Joint General Secretary, said that "various incidents that happened across the country and also the commissions formed on this subject say quite loud and clear that illegal conversion is a threat to the fundamental right to religious freedom and national security". The Supreme Court on Monday gave a clear warning that if this is not stopped, then a "dangerous situation" will be created for the country. The apex court has said that religious conversions by means of force, allurement or fraud may "ultimately affect the security of the nation and freedom of religion and conscience of citizens.
