Bharat Jodo Yatra resumes from Delhi, to enter UP today

Rahul Gandhi along with senior leader Ambika Soni reached the venue of the march where scores of Congress workers and leaders were assembled. From Uttar Pradesh, where the Yatra is for three days, it will re-enter Haryana on January 6. The Yatra will be in Punjab from January 11 to 20, and spend a day in Himachal Pradesh on January 19.
Priyanka to join Rahul's Yatra in UP

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the party general secretary in-charge of the state, will walk with brother Rahul Gandhi from Ghaziabad on Tuesday. Congress leader and former MLC Deepak Singh said, "Priyanka will walk the entire 120 kilometres that the Bharat Jodo Yatra covers in the state. The party workers are very excited as the yatra has generated immense enthusiasm among the masses."
Nadda offers 'chadar' at dargah in Maharashtra's Chandrapur

Nadda, on a day's visit to the state in preparation for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, visited the dargah, with his head covered, and offered a 'chadar' with folded hands, with help from the dargah's servitors and officials. A large number of BJP activists also accompanied him in the small dargah premises.

After the unfortunate incident of 20-year-old dead being dragged for around 12 km after she was hit and trapped under a car in Sultanpuri area early on Sunday, AAP spokesperson Saurabh Bhardwaj on Monday alleged that Delhi LG was roaming on a boat (inspecting a drain) on Sunday after the incident happened. "He (L-G) should have suspended police officials immediately. The LG is incompetent to run New Delhi," he said.

Though Congress leaders want Rahul Gandhi to be projected as the prime ministerial candidate in 2024, the BJP says it's only a daydream.

"Lord Ram's blessings be with you (Rahul Gandhi)," he added. Hanuman Garhi priest Raju Das, meanwhile, said, "This is his personal opinion. We do not agree with Satyendra Das. The Congress has always been anti-Hindu."

Congress invites major parties as Bharat Jodo Yatra set to resume

Sources said that many - but not all - non-BJP parties have been invited, as the party has extended invitation to parties as against leaders and MPs earlier. The Congress has got response from BSP leader Mayawati and SP leader Akhilesh Yadav who have sent their good wishes.
