PM Modi in Karnataka to inaugurate multiple projects
Modi arrived in a special flight to the HAL airport in Bengaluru and visited the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre in the outskirts of the city to inaugurate the India Energy Week in a special chopper. The Prime Minister on his one-day visit, will inaugurate HAL helicopter factory in Gubbi taluk of Tumakuru.
Akhilesh stems resentment in Samajwadi Party
Akhilesh has added four upper caste members and another backward classes (OBC) leader to its national executive. The move comes amid purported talks in some sections of the party over "under-representation of upper castes in the executive". Those included in the national executive are Om Prakash Singh, Arvind Singh Gope, Vinay Tiwari, Neeraj Saxena and Ram Prasad Chaudhary.

Jolt for BJP in Bengal as another party MLA joins Trinamool
On Sunday afternoon, BJP legislator from Alipurduar constituency in Alipurduar district Suman Kanjilal reached the office of Trinamool's national General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee in south Kolkata and joined the ruling party. Banerjee himself handed over the party flag to Kanjilal - the sixth BJP legislator and the third from north Bengal to join Trinamool after the 2021 assembly elections.
Opposition to demonstrate outside Parliament to seek JPC probe into Adani issue
Sources said that before the demonstration, the Opposition parties led by Congress will meet at 9.30 a.m. to finalise a strategy for the day in Parliament. On Friday, both houses of the Parliament were adjourned amid sloganeering by Opposition parties to seek discussion on the issue. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi on Friday said that the government has nothing to do with the matter.

Congress to ask three questions daily on Adani issue
Congress Communication In-charge Jairam Ramesh said on Sunday, "Amid the allegations against the Adani Group, the Modi government has maintained a loud silence which smacks of collusion. Starting today, the Congress party will pose three questions a day to the Prime Minister."
