Opposition criticises budget, says fails to tackle inflation

Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi, while initiating the debate on the Union Budget in Lok Sabha, said that the Union government had failed to control inflation. He added that an "A" grade should be given to the Union Budget, not the one which is given in schools, but the one which stands for Adani, whom it is meant to benefit.

He also noted that talks of a clandestine pact between the BJP and the ruling Trinamool Congress is going on in the state. PM Modi wears jacket made of material recycled from plastic bottles

The Prime Minister was spotted wearing the jacket in the parliament in the morning. The jacket was presented to the Prime Minister by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) during India Energy Week in Bengaluru on Monday. "As per Parliament rules, no allegations can be made unless prior notice is given by an MP.
