Governor's guidelines to VCs of state varsities trigger row in Bengal
The Raj Bhavan on Thursday issued a letter to all the vice-chancellors of state universities, directing them to take the concurrence of the Governor's House in all finance-related matters. The VCs have also been asked to submit a weekly report on the overall functioning of their respective universities.
Nitish Kumar says he regularly interacts with Mallikarjun Kharge
"I have regular interactions with him over the phone. We had an interaction three days ago," he said soon after an Iftar party hosted at his official residence ended in Patna on Friday. The decision was taken during the party's state executive committee meeting here. "We are preparing to contest the Lok Sabha election for all 40 seats.
