In a tweet, Congress general secretary communications in charge Jairam Ramesh said, “Today too, the INDIA parties demanded the PM's presence in the Rajya Sabha to make a statement on Manipur, to be followed by a discussion. Leader of the Opposition, Mallikarjun Kharge-ji, was not allowed to speak. All INDIA parties walked out at around 12:30. Let’s see what happens at 2 p.m. now.”

The properties are situated in Ghaziabad and Patna areas of Bihar. The central investigating agency has initiated PMLA investigation based on CBI’s FIR. The CBI had registered a case against Lalu Yadav, the then Union Railway Minister, his wife Rabri Devi, two daughters, and 15 others, including unknown public servants and private persons.

In an interview to news agency ANI, the UP chief minister reminded the presence of a trident inside the premises and expressed the government's interest in resolving this long-standing issue. He pointed out that referring to the site as a mosque could lead to further disputes due to the religious symbols present there, including a jyotirling and deities.
