Aam Aadmi Party's Charanjit Singh is leading from Chamkaur Sahib seat in Punjab by 1,980 votes against state Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi in a nerve-racking contest. As per the Election Commission update at 11.30 a.m., CM Channi has so far secured 30,880 votes while AAP candidate Charanjit Singh has till now received 32,860 votes.
BJP leading in Uttrakhand, but CM Dhami is trailing in Khatima

As per latest Election Commission update at 11 a.m., the BJP is leading in 44 constituencies with 44.2 per cent vote share while the principal opposition party Congress is leading in 21 seats with 39.2 per cent vote share. The Bahujan Samaj Party is leading in two seats with 4.8 per cent vote share while two independents are leading in Uttarakhand.
BJP leading in 241 seats in UP, SP ahead in 103

The ruling BJP was leading in 241 seats and Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party (SP) was ahead in 103 constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, the Election Commission trends on Thursday showed. Early vote share percentages showed -- BJP has 42.31 per cent votes counted, SP 31.70 per cent, RLD 3.36 per cent, BSP 12.88 per cent and Congress 2.56 per cent.

At 10.30 a.m. as per the Election Commission data, Rawat got 7,939 votes while the BJP candidate is leading with 14,724 votes. Rawat was a top contender for the Chief Minister's post if Congress gains a majority.

Initial counting of votes cast in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections revealed that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is leading from the Gorakhpur Urban constituency, as per Election Commission sources. The initial trends available at 9.30 a.m. were mostly from postal ballots. According to the ABP C-Voter exit poll, the ruling BJP is set to retain power in Uttar Pradesh with a tally of 236 seats.
Bypoll trend: BJP leads in Assam's Majuli

The Bharatiya Janata Party is leading in the early trends of the bypoll results in Assam's Majuli Assembly constituency. The bypoll at this constituency was necessitated after former Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal tendered his resignation from the Assembly. As per Election Commission update around 10.00 a.m., BJP's candidate Bhuban Gam had secured 9,173 votes while Assam Jatiya Parishad's Chittaranjan Basumatary was trailing with 2,515 votes.
