Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Wednesday said that the idea of 'Akhand Bharat' (Unified India) will turn into a reality in 10-15 years. The RSS chief said that it was the dream of Swami Vivekananda and Maharishi Arvind that it will become a reality, if all of us put a little more effort. He made this statement while inaugurating the idol of Brahmalin Mahamandaleshwar Shri 1008 Swami Divyanand Giri, in Haridwar. Mohan Bhagwat made these remarks while seconding the statement of astrologer Swami Ravindra Puri who said that astrological predictions suggest India will realise the dream of Akhand Bharat in the next 20-25 years.

1. “India will again become ‘Akhand Bharat’ in 15 years. We will see all this with our own eyes. He said that according to astrology from the saints, in 20 to 25 years, India will again be a united India", the RSS chief said in a futuristic statement,

Bhagwat statement came in response to a statement made by the president of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, Swami Ravindra Puri(of Mahanirvani Akhara), who said that India will realise the dream of Akhand Bharat in the next 20-25 years, according to the astrological predictions. Bhagwat, however, added that he believes Akhand Bharat will become reality in 10-15 years, based on his calculations and not on the basis of astrology.
3. "If all of us together increase the speed of this work, then in 10 to 15 years, Akhand Bharat will be formed. The country will be rebuilt, all those who come in the way will be either moved away or erased,” the RSS chief added.

4. Citing philosophers like Sri Aurobindo and Swami Vivekananda on their thoughts about India's imminent rise, he said that he always had full faith in what the two philosophers said.
5. Drawing reference from the Bhagavad Gita, he said,"We should remember Shri Krishna's words in the Gita in which he talks about protection of the good. We should also not forget that the wicked have to be destroyed. India has welcomed in its fold all sorts of people from across the world. The good are to be assimilated, the less good are to be corrected, but the wicked must be rejected" .
