My govt took country out of darkness staring at youngsters, says PM Modi

During a virtual address to young voters organized by the youth wing of the ruling BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized that his government has guided the country out of the challenges faced by young people a decade ago. Modi conveyed to the youth that their votes hold the key to determining the future direction and approach of India.

Highlighting the responsibility of the youth, Modi urged them to contribute to making the country developed over the next 25 years, drawing a parallel with the dedication of the young generation before Independence who fought for freedom.

Taking a dig at opposition parties, the Prime Minister stated that the youth is against corruption and nepotism, criticizing family-run parties for hindering the progress of other young individuals. He urged the youth to use their votes to defeat these parties, emphasizing the need to challenge their anti-youth mindset.

Modi acknowledged the transformation in the country's circumstances over the past decade, contrasting the darkness faced by youngsters 10-12 years ago with the current discourse on possibilities. He highlighted a shift from corruption and scams dominating headlines to the celebration of credibility and success stories in various sectors.

Discussing advancements in infrastructure, digital initiatives, and support for start-ups, Modi assured the youth that limitless opportunities await them. He declared a commitment to fulfilling their dreams, emphasizing that the youth has always been a priority for him.

The Prime Minister attributed significant decisions and issue resolutions in the past decade to the presence of a stable and strong majority government. He cited examples such as the removal of Article 370, the rollout of GST, reservation for women in Lok Sabha and assemblies, and the abolition of the practice of instant triple talaq among Muslims. Modi asserted that these decisions were made possible by the stability provided by a strong government at the Centre.
