Mayawati Removes Nephew Akash Anand from Positions, calls him 'immature'

Through a series of posts, she said, "My brother Anand ji will continue to carry out the responsibilities that were vested upon his son, Akash Anand.".

The President of the Bahujan Samaj Party, Mayawati, has suddenly decided to relieve her nephew, Akash Anand, of responsibilities as her political successor and as the national coordinator of the party until he grows up.

Through a series of posts, she said, "My brother Anand ji will continue to carry out the responsibilities that were vested upon his son, Akash Anand.".

These posts have been taken away from him following his nomination as Mayawati's political heir and national coordinator because she considers him immature.

Mayawati insisted that this decision was temporary and would prevail until Akash attains the required maturity.

Mayawati once again reiterated her commitment to the cause, along with the late Kanshi Ram, to carry on B.R. Ambedkar's legacy and said that she is working on grooming the next generation for the same.

Things started going awry for Akash Anand last month when he made some derogatory comments at a rally in Sit.
