Legal Action Initiated Against Woman Claiming Ravi Kishan as Daughter's Father

Aparna Thakur has stepped forth, asserting that Ravi Kishan is not acknowledging their daughter from her subsequent marriage openly. During a media briefing, she sought justice for her daughter, alleging her as the progeny of her union with Kishan.

Initiated from a grievance lodged by Ravi Kishan's wife, Preeti Shukla, the FIR lists Aparna Thakur, along with her spouse Rajesh Soni, daughter Shenova Soni, son Sonak Soni, Samajwadi Party leader Vivek Kumar Pandey, and journalist Khurshid Khan.

The accused parties are facing charges under multiple sections of the IPC, including 120-B (conspiracy), 195 (false evidence), 386 (intimidation), 388 (threat), 504 (insult), and 506 (criminal intimidation), as per the police.

The FIR contends that Aparna Thakur menaced Preeti Shukla, asserting connections to the underworld, and demanded a ransom of Rs 20 crore. Allegedly, she also threatened to fabricate a false rape accusation against Ravi Kishan if her demands were not met.

Moreover, the FIR implicates others involved in the affair.

Additionally, it is mentioned in the FIR that Aparna Thakur filed a complaint with the Mumbai Police, yet she held a press conference in Lucknow on April 15, making baseless allegations.

Ravi Kishan, a prominent figure in Bhojpuri cinema, has been nominated again by the BJP to contest from Gorakhpur in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, a constituency he has represented since 2019.
