Kharge pointed out the formation of the INDIA bloc as a response to what he sees as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah's commitment to erode democracy and the Constitution. He highlighted the suspension of 146 MPs during the Winter Session and underscored the subsequent satyagraha at the Mahatma Gandhi statue.

Addressing the government's actions, Kharge accused it of suppressing Dalits, laborers, farmers, and women. He criticized the suspension of MPs, highlighting the denial of their right to speak on issues such as rape cases, Dalit suppression, and attacks on farmers.
