JD(U) MLC Neeraj Kumar criticized his alliance partner RJD MLA Ajay Yadav for making controversial remarks about the BJP during a gathering. Yadav had suggested that the BJP might orchestrate a bomb blast in Ayodhya and then blame Pakistan-backed militant organizations or Muslims to gain electoral advantage in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Neeraj Kumar urged leaders to avoid making such controversial statements that could hurt religious sentiments. He emphasized the need to respect the religious sentiments of every individual, particularly with the Pran Pratishta of Ram Lala scheduled to take place in Ayodhya on January 22.
Kumar highlighted the Bihar government's efforts in supporting temple renovations, such as the ongoing projects at Badi Patan Devi and a temple in Sitamarhi dedicated to Sita. He expressed happiness about the upcoming Pran Pratishta ceremony in Ayodhya.
Ajay Yadav, in his earlier statement, had expressed concerns about potential blasts in Ayodhya during the influx of visitors and alleged that the BJP would use this as an opportunity to gain votes by blaming Pakistan-backed groups or Muslims.
Yadav also made a personal comment about Prime Minister Modi, expressing shame that Modi would participate in the Pran Pratishta ceremony for Lord Ram in Ayodhya, given Modi's marital history. Yadav suggested a contrast between Lord Sri Ram's character and Modi's personal life, claiming that Modi, having left his wife, is doing the Pran Pratishta of Lord Sri Ram.
