RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat gives call for 'ghar wapsi' of Hindus who left community

On Wednesday, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat called for 'ghar wapsi' of Hindus who left the community for various reasons.  Mohan Bhagwat is the chief of RSS, an organisation of volunteers who believe in cultural nationalism. Amid so many cases of conversion, and to make the religion ever more stronger, Bhagwat administered 4 pledges to the participants at Hindu Mahakumbh in order to make the Hindu religion and culture impenetrable.

Launching a book - "Vibhajankaleen Bharat Ke Sakshi" (The Witness of Partition India) - written by Krishnanand Sagar in Noida, the Sangh chief said that this is India of 2021, not 1947. Once the country has been divided and now it will not be divided again. Bhagwat also advocated for the 'Akhand Bharat' (united India). He termed the partition is an unforgettable event and asserted that the pain of division will only end when the partition would be revoked.

Explaining Hindutva in simple words, Bhagwat said, "The selfless service work done by the volunteers of the Sangh during the Corona period is Hindutva as there is a sense of well-being in it." Bhagwat was in Udaipur on Sunday and was speaking to around 300 people from different sections, including Leader of Opposition Gulab Chand Kataria.

Bhagwat said that the Sangh does not believe in the politics of votes. "We are in favour of the nation. We support those who are in favour of it. The work of connecting people cannot be done by politics. Politics is not a tool for this work, but is rather a weapon of destruction."
Month after jab, RSS chief Bhagwat tests Covid positive

According to an RSS functionary, he was suffering from some minor cough and cold issues and underwent an RT-PCR test. After the report came Covid-19 positive, he was admitted to the Kingsway Hospital on Friday. Incidentally, the 70-year-old Bhagwat - who had taken his first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on March 7 - is responding well to the treatment and his condition is described as stable.
