In an exclusive interview with IANS, Latha divulged the party’s strategies for the upcoming 2024 polls, advocating for a name change for Hyderabad, asserting it as a means to rectify past "sins".

Latha alleges a growing fraternal bond between Asaduddin Owaisi and the Congress, expressing her determination to challenge this alliance. She pledges to reclaim land held under the Waqf Board by the Owaisi brothers if elected.

Emphasizing the BJP's commitment to progressive policies, Latha contrasts their campaign, focused on fostering love and respect for human values, with what she perceives as fear-mongering tactics employed by the opposition.

Accusing the Owaisi brothers of amassing wealth and betraying their community, Latha questions the need for their extensive security detail, given their purported close ties within Muslim communities.

Regarding the proposed renaming of Hyderabad to 'Bhagyanagar', Latha sees no issue, citing the city's original name.

In terms of outreach to the Muslim community, Latha advocates for inclusive development, stressing equal access to education and rights for all, irrespective of religious affiliation.

She extols Prime Minister Narendra Modi as an inspiration, likening him to Lord Hanuman, and credits his leadership for various schemes benefiting all, including Muslim women.

Describing herself as 'Lady Singham', Latha pledges to uphold truth and expose falsehoods throughout her political journey.

Hyderabad's Lok Sabha seat has long been a stronghold of the Owaisi family, with Asaduddin Owaisi's father winning as an independent candidate in 1984. Despite this history, Latha remains undeterred in her bid to challenge the status quo.
