Radhika Khera blasted the grand old party for eschewing Gandhian principles shortly after she joined the BJP, declaring, "Today's Congress is anti-Ram and anti-Hindu."

She recalled being insulted and humiliated by the party leadership and said she could not have imagined the extent of the abuse and harassment she endured for going to the Ram Temple and receiving a darshan from Ram Lalla. She added that she would not have been able to save herself had the BJP government not intervened to save her.
