Five PMs in five years is INDIA bloc's new formula: PM Modi Criticizes Opposition Alliance

He asked how an aimless coalition, at best, could govern the country efficiently and be placed in power. He illustrated a grim scenario of different leaders relishing in power, all indulging in corruption and mismanagement.

At a campaign rally in support of BJP nominee Ram Satpute from Solapur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the INDIA bloc and the Shiv Sena faction led by former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. He accused the "fake" Shiv Sena of proposing more than one option to the PM within the INDIA bloc, something which hinted at the lack of unity and clarity within their ranks.

Modi said he was astonished by the lack of any clarity of a clear leader within the INDIA bloc, which signified the coalition was still fighting out internal battles over leadership roles. He asked how a disorganized coalition could be expected to steer the country's future efficiently.

He underscored his own commitment to public service over personal gain. He pointed out that there were stark differences between his intention and the alleged self-service motives of his political adversaries. He appealed to the electorate to opt for development and stability while supporting the BJP for the next five years.

He pointed out the failures of the Congress party for the last 60 years, mentioning how detrimental their governance has been for the country. He accused Congress of not believing in social justice and of trying to curtail the rights of disadvantaged sections of the society.

The stand of the BJP on social issues was soothed by Modi with promises of inclusive policies on behalf of his administration. He promised to empower the underprivileged, ensuring equal opportunities for one and all. He argued with denials that the plans were to do away with constitutional provisions, like reservation quotas.
