During the visit to the national capital, Sharma has engaged with key leaders, including a meeting with Prime Minister Modi, and is scheduled to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda. The purpose of these meetings is believed to be the finalization of names for the Cabinet expansion.
Political experts anticipate that the new Cabinet may introduce fresh faces, with an emphasis on caste equations to ensure a balance between the Chief Minister and central leadership. Additionally, the Cabinet is expected to strategize for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
