He asked the party leaders in Telangana to go to the people with the message that it is only under BJP that both the country and Telangana can develop.

Nadda made the statement while attending the 100 birth anniversary programme of BJP stalwart Kailashpati Mishra at Bapu Sabhagar in Patna. 

If sources are to be believed, Raje has been asking for a bigger role while trying to position herself as the CM face. However, the party high command has reiterated many times that the Assembly polls will be contested on the face of PM Narendra Modi and the BJP symbol.

According to sources, the BJP has identified 125 "vulnerable" constituencies in Madhya Pradesh and 27 in Chhattisgarh, where the party is in a "weaker position".

Taking a dig at Mamata Banerjee on the corruption issue, Nadda said that no amount of evidence against her Cabinet colleagues will satisfy the Chief Minister. “What more proof does the Chief Minister want? Former state Education Minister Partha Chatterjee is behind the bars. Ultimately, all those involved in matters of corruption will have to land up in jail.

Sharing information about Chirag Paswan's decision to join the NDA alliance, Nadda also formally welcomed him into the NDA alliance.It is likely that Chirag will attend the NDA  meeting scheduled to be held on Tuesday in the national capital.

Reacting to the death of BJP leader Vijay Kumar Singh, Nadda said that Nitish Kumar, in a bid to save the charge-sheeted deputy Chief Minister, has forgotten morality. BJP state president Chaudhary announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the family members of the deceased.
