BJP dividing country in name of caste, creed and religion, says Rahul Gandhi

Gandhi emphasized that the Congress launched the 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' to unite people and address their economic problems.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, as part of his 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra,' accused the BJP of dividing the country along lines of caste, creed, and religion. The yatra, initiated by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, entered Arunachal Pradesh from Assam. Interacting with people in Doimukh, Gandhi alleged that the BJP stirs enmity among people based on religion, caste, and language, while protecting the interests of a few millionaires.

Gandhi emphasized that the Congress launched the 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' to unite people and address their economic problems. He highlighted the historical significance of Arunachal Pradesh gaining full-fledged statehood during the Congress government led by late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in 1987.

While expressing the Congress's commitment to raising issues for the betterment of Arunachal Pradesh, Gandhi criticized the BJP government for not addressing people's grievances. He stressed that the yatra aims to hear the views, pain, and sufferings of the people.

Gandhi is scheduled to leave Arunachal Pradesh and continue the yatra in Assam, where he plans to visit the birthplace of Vaishnavite scholar Srimanta Sankardeva on January 22, coinciding with the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Jairam Ramesh, Congress General Secretary, highlighted the importance of Srimanta Sankardeva's ideals, which continue to resonate with people across the country.
