BJP Claims 'Operation Sindoor' Demonstrates That All of Pakistan is Within India's Grasp

For the first time, the international community witnessed that all of Pakistan is in India's striking range. Their air defence was disabled on May 7, and within 25 minutes, the world saw India's capability to destroy terror hideouts," Patra said at a press conference at the BJP headquarters.

On Monday, BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra appreciated the success of 'Operation Sindoor,' reiterating that the Indian military's actions of bombing terror networks deep in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) have given the world a strong message: no corner of Pakistan is beyond India's reach.

For the first time, the international community witnessed that all of Pakistan is in India's striking range. Their air defence was disabled on May 7, and within 25 minutes, the world saw India's capability to destroy terror hideouts," Patra said at a press conference at the BJP headquarters.

Patra described the briefing as a “moment of national pride” and stressed that India’s swift and decisive military response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack fulfilled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to retaliation.

“This was not just another press conference,” he remarked. “It was India’s message to the world: terrorism will be met with force.”

The BJP leader also highlighted the international backing India received, noting that PM Modi had personally engaged with the heads of nearly 20 countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the US, to isolate Pakistan diplomatically.

“Major Islamic nations also stood with India,” Patra said, pointing out PM Modi’s truncated visit to Saudi Arabia following the Pahalgam attack.

He also highlighted the non-military measures initiated by India for the first time in more than half a century, such as suspending the Indus Water Treaty, which has far-reaching implications for Pakistan's water resources.

"Almost 90 percent of Pakistan's water is provided by the Indus River. Shutting off this lifeline will paralyze their agriculture and reduce their GDP by almost a quarter," Patra cautioned.

Patra spelled out the twin goals of Operation Sindoor: targeted strikes and the protection of civilians.

"The targets were far-off, high-value terror hideouts, with no military bases hit. The operation was meant to kill terrorists but spare civilian lives," he clarified.

He listed some key terrorists killed in the operation, such as Abu Jundal and Abdul Rauf, and pointed out that India had hit deep within Punjab, a geographical heartland of Pakistan.

This is Naya Bharat. We hit in their backyard," Patra stated.

Patra displayed photos of Pakistani military personnel attending terrorists' funerals draped with national flags, reinforcing India's long-standing assertion that Pakistan patronizes terrorism.

He pointed out that Hafiz Abdur Rauf, a US-declared terrorist, was the one who conducted the funeral prayers, again highlighting the intimate relationship between Pakistan's state and terror groups.

Summing up, Patra described Operation Sindoor as a historical milestone, adding, "This is the first time a nation has struck deep within a nuclear-armed country to dismantle its terror infrastructure… Operation Sindoor marks a turning point in India's battle against terrorism."
