BJP Affirms PM Modi's View: Whole Nation is His Family

This move by the BJP's top brass came in response to criticism from Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav, who had taken jabs at the Prime Minister for not having a conventional family during a rally in Patna.

Senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), including Home Minister Amit Shah and party president J P Nadda, made a symbolic gesture on Monday by adding 'Modi Ka Parivar' (Modi's Family) to their social media profiles, echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's assertion that the entire nation is his family.

This move by the BJP's top brass came in response to criticism from Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav, who had taken jabs at the Prime Minister for not having a conventional family during a rally in Patna.

Addressing a gathering in Adilabad, Telangana, Modi targeted what he referred to as "dynasty parties" in India, emphasizing that despite their varying faces, their common trait was deceit and corruption. He reiterated that the 1.4 billion people of India are his family.

Responding to Yadav's remarks, the BJP emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi considers the entire nation as his family. BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi condemned the personal attacks and "petty" remarks against Modi, reiterating that such behavior has been a trend for over 16-17 years.

Trivedi highlighted the disappointment over Yadav's comments, asserting that Modi's dedication lies in serving the country as a whole. He emphasized that the Prime Minister's commitment transcends individual or familial considerations, aligning with the BJP's ideology.

The Opposition, under the banner of the INDIA bloc, has been formed to challenge the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with Yadav's remarks reflecting a broader political discourse centered around personal attacks and counter-responses.
