Amid Speculation of MLA Allegiance, Raje Meets Nadda for Discussions

Raje's actions have been perceived as a cooperative gesture toward the BJP high command, aiming to clarify her stance and align with the party's interests.

Vasundhara Raje, a senior figure within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former Rajasthan chief minister, recently held a significant meeting with BJP national president JP Nadda, accompanied by her son, Lok Sabha MP Dushyant Singh. The meeting lasted around one and a half hours, emphasizing Raje's efforts to address murmurs surrounding the alleged holding of MLAs at a resort, purportedly to pressure the party leadership and stake a claim to the chief ministerial post.

Raje's actions have been perceived as a cooperative gesture toward the BJP high command, aiming to clarify her stance and align with the party's interests. In a recent gesture, she credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the BJP's successful performance in the recent Assembly polls across Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.

Expressing her support and admiration for PM Modi's leadership, Raje highlighted the victory as a testament to the inadequacy of the Congress' promises in comparison to Modi's commitments.

Sources suggest that Raje has sought appointments with both BJP president JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss the ongoing political developments in Rajasthan, intending to present her perspective and engage with the top party leadership on the matter.

Previously, former MLA Hemraj Meena, father of MLA Lalit Meena from Kishanganj assembly constituency, raised allegations concerning the alleged confinement of MLAs under the direction of Dushyant Singh. He claimed that Singh had prevented Lalit Meena from visiting the party office, purportedly keeping him and other MLAs at the Aapno Rajasthan Resort after bringing them from Baran-Jhalawar district to Jaipur.
