Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar mentioned that he would have brought the whole Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) along with him if the BJP and Shiv Sena had offered him the role of Chief Minister.
During the launch event for "Yoddha Karmayogi – Eknath Sambhaji Shinde," a biography of the current Chief Minister, Pawar humorously remarked that, in the realm of politics, he holds more seniority than both Chief Minister Shinde and fellow Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
