"International powers have surrounded us. The situation in Bangladesh is yet another testament to foreign scheming. Bangladesh has been our ally for a long time, but the recent power shift has changed everything. This is a matter of significant concern for all of us,” Ranaut conveyed to the media.

As a first-time Parliamentarian, she also praised the country’s rich Sanatani tradition, suggesting that the troubling trends worldwide, particularly in Islamic Republics, highlight the necessity of reinforcing the principles of Sanatan Dharma.

Kangana stated, "We should take lessons from the events in Bangladesh, uphold 'Sanatan Dharma,' and promote it to prevent a similar situation from arising in India."

The BJP MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, made these remarks while inspecting flood-affected areas in the state on Tuesday.

On the same day, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar addressed the issue for the first time since Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina resigned, expressing India's deep concern over the attacks on minorities, their businesses, and temples in various locations in the neighboring country.

The situation in Bangladesh is "still evolving", said Jaishankar, adding that recently, the Army chief of that country has reportedly talked about taking responsibility and forming an interim government. He assured the House that the Indian government remained in "close and continuous touch" with the Indian community there through its diplomatic missions.
