Prime Minister Narendra Modi has commenced an 11-day special pooja from Panchvati in Nashik in preparation for the pran pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, scheduled for January 22. In a video message shared on X, Prime Minister Modi expressed his gratitude for being part of this auspicious occasion and representing the countrymen in this divine ceremony.
In his message, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the significance of awakening divine consciousness within oneself, citing the scriptures that prescribe vows and strict rules before the pran pratishtha. He shared that he would follow the guidance of saints and adhere to the principles of conduct (yam-niyam) during the 11-day observance.
Expressing overwhelming emotions, the Prime Minister acknowledged the immense responsibility placed upon him as an instrument representing all the people of India in this divine ceremony. He conveyed that the moment of pran pratishtha would be a shared experience for the nation, drawing inspiration from countless individuals who dedicated their lives to the cause of the Ram Mandir.
Prime Minister Modi sought the blessings of the people, emphasizing the transformative energy he gains when individuals express their feelings and give their blessings. He requested the support and good wishes of the public for the successful completion of this significant event.
Referring to Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary as a joyous coincidence and mentioning the birth anniversary of Jijabai, the mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji, he acknowledged the auspiciousness of the moment. Prime Minister Modi, known for waking up in Brahmamurta and adhering to a satvik diet, expressed his commitment to the penance during this period leading up to the pran pratishtha ceremony.
