AAP Picks Rajya Sabha MP Sanjiv Arora for Ludhiana West Bypoll

The AAP's national general secretary, Sandeep Pathak, announced this on X. But the date for the bypoll is yet to be announced.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday fielded Rajya Sabha member Sanjiv Arora as its candidate for the Ludhiana West assembly bypoll scheduled to be held soon.

The AAP's national general secretary, Sandeep Pathak, announced this on X. But the date for the bypoll is yet to be announced.

Arora is a known industrialist from Ludhiana and has been a Rajya Sabha member since 2022.

The Ludhiana West constituency fell vacant last month after AAP MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi died. Gogi died of a gunshot wound at his home after his licensed weapon went off accidentally.
