Praising the Indian military for their effectiveness, Modi said that although India and Pakistan had previously fought with each other, for the first time the high-security targets on the other side were effectively targeted.

"The forces destroyed terror hideouts. we also demonstrated that India won't succumb to nuclear blackmailing," he said, highlighting India's determination in the midst of years of nuclear threats.

Emphasizing the level of destruction inflicted on Pakistan's defense infrastructure, the Prime Minister stated that Indian strikes heavily damaged major airbases. "India demonstrated its technological advancement by targeting Pakistan. We gave a great blow to Pakistan's assets and airbases, and any airbases are maintained in ICUs," he said, comparing the extent of destruction to emergency wards of hospitals.

India conducted targeted attacks on several Pakistani airbases, including Murid and Nur Khan, on May 10. These strikes followed Pakistani attempts to hit Indian airbases.

Satellite imagery at the time uncovered the extent of damage caused by India's military onslaught. Among the places hit were Nur Khan (also referred to as Chaklala in Rawalpindi), Murid (in Chakwal), and Rafiqui (in Shorkot, Jhang district), reported while Operation Sindoor was being executed.

The strikes were in direct retaliation for the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam in which 26 civilians were killed.
