Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, AIADMK General Secretary K. Palaniswami (EPS), and seasoned BJP leader K. Annamalai have expressed their unstinted support to the Indian Army's counter-attack on Pakistan terror camps and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoJK), carried out in retaliation to the latest Pahalgam terror attack.

Seconding such a sentiment, opposition leader and AIADMK chief K. Palaniswami expressed appreciation for the rapid and focused response of the army. Writing in his tweet, he mentioned, "I salute the Indian Armed Forces for their precise conduct of #OperationSindoor, targeting terror camps in Pakistan and PoJK as retaliation for the Pahalgam attack."

He continued to praise the central government's leadership saying, "Under the watchful leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Thiru. @narendramodi Avl, justice has been served. This bold move reaffirms our country's firm resolve to uproot terrorism and safeguard our citizens."

Tamil Nadu BJP's former president K. Annamalai too put out his reaction on 'X', saying, "Terrorists responded in the language they understand best! Jai Hind! #OperationSindoor."

Meanwhile, BJP state spokesperson ANS Prasad released a more detailed message praising the Prime Minister's strong leadership. "India's @PMOIndia @narendramodi, who has been labouring with grandeur for world peace and happiness, has taken a swift, just, and bold decision," he tweeted.

He further referred to the strike as historic, saying, "The historic strike by the #IndianArmyForces against terrorist camps in #Pakistan will write the final chapter to #Terrorism. This is the first successful strike of #MotherIndia. Let the successful journey of the Indian Army continue. Let's unite under the leadership of #PrimeMinister #NarendraModi and counter terrorism with #patriotism."

The operation, Prasad said, was aimed at nine key terrorist hideouts, including Bahawalpur, a known hub of Jaish-e-Mohammed; Muridke, the headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiba; and Muzaffarabad, a key operating node.

Others were Gulpur, Bhimber, Chak Amru, Bagh, Kotli, and Sialkot. Prasad noted, "These strategic strikes are in response to the Pahalgam attack that claimed 26 innocent lives."

He emphasized that the strikes conveyed a strong message: "India sends a strong message: terrorism won't be tolerated. Justice has been served for the victims of the #PahalgamTerroristAttack, and India stands united in its pursuit of peace and security."

Prasad also referred to the precision and professionalism of the military intervention. "This operation reflects the ability of India to strike at terrorist infrastructure with accuracy while going out of its way not to target military and civilian facilities. More than 90 terrorists were killed, a big blow to these terror chains," he stated.

He ended by highlighting the coordination of the military: "The #IndianArmy, #AirForce, and #Navy worked in perfect harmony, displaying India's formidable defense capacity. The nation will safeguard its #Sovereignty at all costs and protect its citizens."
