Shiv Nadar's Daughter Becomes First Indian Woman in Global Top 10 Rich List

Her climb in rankings comes on the heels of a 47% stake transfer from her father, Shiv Nadar, HCL Technologies' founder.

HCL Technologies chairperson Roshni Nadar Malhotra has become the first Indian woman to join the top 10 of the Hurun Global Rich List 2025 for women. With an estimated net worth of ₹3.5 lakh crore, she ranks fifth among the richest women in the world.

Her climb in rankings comes on the heels of a 47% stake transfer from her father, Shiv Nadar, HCL Technologies' founder. This transfer has made her the custodian of Vama Sundari Investments (Vama Delhi) and HCL Corp, the promoter companies of HCL Technologies, with absolute control over strategic decisions for the $12 billion IT behemoth.
