Ram Lalla Idol Transferred to Temple's Sanctum Sanctorum, Expected Installation on Thursday

The idol's transportation to the temple was facilitated using a truck, and various rituals have been ongoing in preparation for the consecration ceremony scheduled for January 22.

The idol of Ram Lalla was brought inside the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on Wednesday night, as confirmed by Shri Ram Mandir Construction Committee chairperson Nripendra Mishra. The special puja was conducted in the sanctum sanatorium before the idol was placed inside. Mishra mentioned that the idol is likely to be formally installed in the sanctum sanctorum on Thursday.

Rituals are expected to continue until January 21, with the consecration ceremony on January 22 focusing on the 'Pran Pratishtha' of the idol of Ram Lalla. The process will be overseen by 121 'acharyas' conducting the rituals, and the 'Pran Pratishtha' is set to commence at 12:20 pm, concluding by 1 pm on January 22. The consecration ceremony marks a significant milestone in the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
