On the momentous occasion of the 75th Republic Day, President Droupadi Murmu proudly unfurled the national flag at the Kartavya Path. The ceremony was a spectacle of national pride, commencing with the resonant notes of the national anthem accompanied by a resounding 21-gun salute, executed with the precision of the indigenous 105-mm Indian Field Guns.
Adding a touch of aerial grandeur to the celebration, four Mi-17 IV helicopters from the 105 Helicopter Unit gracefully showered vibrant flower petals upon the enthralled audience gathered at Kartavya Path.
The festivities continued with a spectacular performance titled "Aavaahan," featuring over 100 talented women artists. This breathtaking band presentation showcased their proficiency in various percussion instruments, symbolizing the indomitable spirit of 'Nari Shakti' or women empowerment.
The entire event at Kartavya Path epitomized the essence of the Republic Day celebration, blending traditional elements with a modern touch, and honoring the diverse facets of India's rich cultural heritage.
