PM Modi to Embark on Historic Visits to Brunei and Singapore in Early September

MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal revealed during a media briefing that the Prime Minister will be in Brunei from September 3-4. This trip will be the first official bilateral visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Brunei.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Brunei and Singapore in early September, according to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs on Friday, August 30, 2024.

MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal revealed during a media briefing that the Prime Minister will be in Brunei from September 3-4. This trip will be the first official bilateral visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Brunei.

Jaiswal also highlighted that this visit coincides with the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Brunei.

Following his stay in Brunei, PM Modi is expected to travel to Singapore on September 4-5, responding to an invitation from his Singaporean counterpart, the MEA added.
