PM Modi Emphasizes India's 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' Approach Extended to Neighboring Nations

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that relations between India and Bangladesh have reached new heights, emphasizing the "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" (Together with All, Development for All) approach with Dhaka. During a virtual event, he inaugurated three projects in Bangladesh, including the Akhaura-Agartala Cross-Border Rail Link, Khulna-Mongla Port Rail Line, and Unit–II of the Maitree Super Thermal Power Plant.

The Akhaura-Agartala rail link is the first railway connection between Bangladesh and India's northeastern states, promoting economic and cultural ties. The inauguration of the Maitree Super Thermal Power Plant's second unit contributes to energy security in Bangladesh.

Both leaders also discussed the Land Boundary Agreement and the maritime boundary resolution, which have strengthened regional stability and cooperation.

Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed gratitude to the Indian government for fostering strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries. She mentioned the joint screening of a biopic on Bangladesh's founder, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, as a symbol of their collaboration.

These developments underscore the growing partnership between India and Bangladesh, with a focus on mutual development, connectivity, and regional stability.
